NYSE: CPT NYSE Multi-Family Residential REITs Next results ~November 5, 2026

Camden Property Trust is a Texas real estate investment trust (REIT), formed in 1993, that owns, operates, develops and acquires multifamily apartment communities across the United States. Its core activity is renting apartment homes to residents, with leases averaging around fourteen months and terms staggered to match each property's seasonal rental patterns. The company also holds land that it may develop into future communities.

Revenue comes principally from residential rents. Its customers are apartment residents, and it competes with other multifamily properties, condominiums, single-family homes and short-term rental providers. As a REIT meeting Internal Revenue Code requirements, it is generally not subject to federal income tax, aside from its taxable REIT subsidiaries. Camden manages its properties directly, using certified property managers, leasing staff and maintenance technicians.

The business concentrates on core markets to gain economies of scale from managing multiple properties in the same area. As of 31 December 2025, Camden owned interests in, operated or was developing 175 multifamily properties comprising 59,921 apartment homes, including three properties under construction totalling 1,162 homes. It employed approximately 1,640 people.

Based on Camden Property Trust's 10-K filed February 12, 2026.
