Bumble Inc. runs a family of apps for meeting people and building relationships. Its main products are the Bumble app, a dating service launched in 2014 and designed around women; the Badoo app, launched in 2006 for a mainstream global audience; and two friendship apps, Bumble For Friends (2023) and BFF (relaunched in the United States in September 2025) for finding friends and building communities.
The apps are free to use, and the company makes money through a freemium model in which a subset of its members worldwide pay. Income comes from subscriptions such as Bumble Boost, Premium and Premium+, and Badoo Premium and Extra, plus one-off in-app purchases including SuperSwipe, Spotlight and Badoo Credits.
The apps share common infrastructure, letting features and insights move between them. Per the filing, the Bumble app leads online dating in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, and Badoo in parts of Europe and Latin America. In 2025 the Bumble app had about 2.4 million paying users and Badoo and other apps about 1.2 million. The company had roughly 580 full-time employees across 14 countries, most in Europe.
