Our note on each quarter Intel files

10-Q filed October 30: Intel

Model value −10.2%

Intel's revenue for the twelve months to September 2026 reached $59.9bn, a 12.1% rise on the year before and an acceleration from the 7.5% growth recorded a quarter earlier. Profitability also improved: the free-cash-flow margin climbed to 6.3% from -15.8%, while the operating margin widened to 2.9% from -4.5%. Less encouraging is the diluted share count, which has grown 16.0% year on year, diluting existing holders. Taken together, these shifts lift the fundamentals grade from D to C. Even so, our model value has slipped, falling from $32.71 to $29.38 a share. That figure sits well below the current share price of $92.25, leaving a wide gap between the market's valuation and our own.

Growth cash-flow model Revenue for this year and next from analysts' consensus, then growth fading to 2.5%; the operating margin moving to profitable peers'; investment needed per dollar of growth from peers; reduced by a failure probability.
