Our note on each quarter Edison International files

10-Q filed October 29: Edison International

Edison International's revenue reached $18.6bn over the twelve months to September 2026, a 2.6% rise on the prior year but well below the 10.7% growth recorded a quarter earlier. Among the sixteen electric utilities we cover, that leaves the company ranked 13th for growth. Profitability tells a different story. Free-cash-flow margin improved to -0.7%, up from -4.0% a year earlier, while operating margin widened to 31.8% from 28.4%. Despite these gains on the margin side, the slowdown in top-line growth has weighed on the overall picture, and the fundamentals grade slips from B+ to B. The result is a business generating cash more efficiently but expanding more slowly than it was, and more slowly than most peers in its sector.

Our model value for Edison International is under review, so past values are not shown until it is resolved.
