C Fundamentals grade

Take-Two Interactive Software develops, publishes and markets video games for console, mobile and personal computer, delivered via physical retail, digital download, online platforms and cloud streaming. Its titles appear under three labels: Rockstar Games, behind Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption; 2K, which publishes NBA 2K, BioShock, Borderlands, Civilization, Mafia and WWE 2K; and Zynga, maker of free-to-play mobile games such as Words With Friends, Toon Blast and Zynga Poker.

Substantially all revenue comes from selling this content, plus in-game virtual items, currency, add-on content and purchases, advertising within mobile titles, and live services. It sells through digital storefronts, platform partners, large retailers and third-party distributors; Apple, Sony, Google and Microsoft each account for more than 10% of net revenue.

The business runs as a single segment, with development studios in countries including Australia, Canada, Germany and the United States and sales operations across Japan, Singapore and the UK. It had 12,909 full-time employees on 31 March 2026, 9,998 of them in development. The Grand Theft Auto series has sold in over 465 million units worldwide, and Grand Theft Auto VI is planned for release on 19 November 2026.
